I need everyone's help out there.

I am headed to Vegas in a couple months and I need suggestions on restaurants, awesome buffets, must sees, and things (shows, particular casinos, rollercoasters, etc.) to check out. I haven't the faintest clue about Vegas as the last time I was there I was 8 and Circus Circus was the place to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I now have a cat. I was told she was 8 months only to find out she is a year and a couple months.

I was told she likes to cuddle...she does not.

Anyways I was told a lot of things none of which are true. I have had her a week and so far it is not going well. While she is declawed in the front her back feet managed to scratch my leather ottoman all up. She did that yesterday while I was at work. She removed said blanket covering couch and then used ottoman as launching pad to clear the couch and get to the screen porch.

Her name is Amelia. I refer to her as the meepster. When she will pose for a picture I will post one. For now I only have a scary one of her on my phone.

For now we are managing. If she doesn't start the loving I will be bathing her.

House front

So yesterday I got my electrical plans so that I can move all the tv/phone plugs around and add more if I want. I also spent 2 hours with the decorator picking out colors for the rooms, hallways, floor color, carpet color, tile colors, grout color for the tile, trim color, knobs for cabinets(who knew that had options), brick color, trim for outside of house color, door colors, cabinet colors, granite color, and ceiling colors. I am all colored out. I did not know there were that many choices for the house. I thought I got only a few. So it is all picked and I am excited to be done with it.

I must call the decorator and change the bathroom to have all knobs instead of handles.

I doubt this is exciting reading for anyone but me. But I am pumped.

If you guys want to come visit the house will be finished Dec 21st.

Memorial Day

Tomorrow I leave for Memorial Day Weekend in Gatlinburg, TN. The second most popular place for weddings behind Vegas. No worries I am not getting married just partying down with some friends. More pics and updates later.

A quick update

Put a bid on a different house yesterday. This one is probably 50 miles in the opposite direction of the first but only 25 from my work. I hope this flies but I have a feeling it will not, as it is new construction and I put a bid for a lot lower than the asking price. It is one that the contract fell through. It was based on the family selling their other house and apparently they have had no offers so the builder is selling it out from under them. If the builder accepts the offer the family will have 48 hours to put down the downpayment or I get the house. If it goes through I will post pics, if not it will be back to the house hunt.

My apartment still has mold in the bedroom. I have taken to sleeping on a blow up mattress in the living room, which is amazingly comfortable. It also allows me to lay there and watch tv before I fall asleep. Might have to look into that setup.

I am headed to the LSU vs Auburn game tomorrow and then back to Farmington, NM for 10 days. That is right I should be finishing up the last of my "training". It promises to be as much of a debacle as the first four months so needless to say I am thrilled to be going back. Oh well I am just dust in the wind of management.

Also I am thinking of throwing myself a 25th birthday party. I didn't get a sweet sixteen, or 18, or 21st party at all. So this year I am attempting to remedy that. Only problem is I have no ideas for what to do or what theme (should I even have one) I should have. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I need help.
